A fun take on the starter deck combo.

I guess some play tips copied from my facebook post.

I mulligan for force speed and jedi robes as often as i can. I always pick their location unless i have a good reason not to (krenic) and split the shields 1 and 1. I do this because i don't know who they will target first and sometimes i like to respond with a shield generating card and i don't wana waste a single one and some like jedi robes and rey's lightsaber make 2. I will prioritize keeping a shield on over damage most times. Team work and force training are 2 really good starting upgrades because they can help out the other character if they switch focus. Be aware of how much of your deck shuts off when rey dies and plan for it. Try not to play inner strength until you know who the target it is (most of the time it is rey but you never know)

Sound the alarm is weirdly potent in this deck because once you start establishing a shield chain combo every turn with poe they will realize the best way to hurt you is with burst damage all at once. this leads to them naturally playing into sound the alarm for full effect.

Do or do not is almost always used on the character dice and is great on either. Even if you can't modify a poe special you can resolve it and for 0 cost you couldn't hope for a better card then turn a dice from blank to combo city.

Be aware of action cheating and the potential to lose someone under shields due to vibro knife. if you can sniff it out don't be afraid to throw down a rey's lightsaber even if the character is always rolled out.

The deck is light on hard dice removal and that is fine. You prefer to let them waste actions resolving dice only to re shield up and heal through it. this gives you a greater chance of claiming once in a while and can be very frustrating for them.

The deck has a very low curve so don't be afraid to re roll money for shields, focus, or damage.

The deck is made to hurt and heal as often as possible. A very normal turn is to: Use Poe special and give a shield > turn Poe's other dice to Poe special and give a shield> turn poe's blaster into special a shot for 2-3 depending on who is holding it. You can sub out poes blaster in that scenario for a force speed dice for more action cheating, or any upgrade in the deck for more silly silly stay alive power. The opponent will struggle to get damage to stick as you pile the shields and healing on who ever they try and kill.

Good luck to all who play it. It is a fun little combo deck. 18-1 record so far.
