4-0 Tournament Winner:

Game One: Played against the Palpatine - Galactic Emperor. This was a decisive win. He rolled poorly on a couple of turns. I used It Will All Be Mine on two of his dice to do 5 damage and get a resource. This was the clear turning point in the game.

Game Two: Versus Qui-Gon Jinn - Ataru Master and Kanan Jarrus - Rebel Jedi. This was another clean victory, I Took out Qui-Gon Jinn - Ataru Master first to reduce the amount of shields being produced.

Game Three: Versus Mace Windu - Jedi Champion and Padawan. Again I took out the biggest threat as fast as I could, which was Mace Windu - Jedi Champion. It was a pretty clean victory but my opponent kept playing upgrades instead of saving resources. He kept re-rolling into damage that cost resources and couldn't pay for it. I also rolled poorly, at least with Chance Cube, I had it in play 3 or 4 turns and only resolved it once for 2 resources. He was a new player and wasn't sure which of my characters to target first and it was too late for him by the time he realized Kylo Ren - Tormented One was the big threat.

Game Four: Versus Bala-Tik - Gang Leader, Tie Pilot, First Order Stormtrooper, First Order Stormtrooper Redeploy deck. This was my hardest match. I managed to use on Bazine Netal - Master Manipulator die to get a Endless Ranks out of her hand. Even though this was two color deck I guessed right 3 out of 5 times. My Chance Cube was hot this game I resolved 3 side 3 times. I had to use Rise Again twice. She used Endless Ranks once.

In two of my games I used It Will All Be Mine on only one side to secure a kill. It was worth it to get rid of that character's dice out of the pool.

I had one game where they chose my battlefield Mos Eisley Spaceport - Tatooine. I was able to claim 3 times to return Sith Holocron to my hand for a resource. It definitely helped me win that game. Don't expect to win the roll off with this deck, it rarely happens.

The great thing about the meta right now is there are a lot of popular mono color decks. This makes Kylo Ren - Tormented One ability highly effective and is a lot like the sustained damage that Palpatine - Galactic Emperor puts out.

This deck has some advantages over Palpatine - Galactic Emperor. For instance your health total is a lot higher at 28. You also get access to yellow for greater resource ramping and dice control. You also have 3 dice instead of just 2, granted these 3 dice are not nearly as good as Palpatine - Galactic Emperor but you have a character with "Guardian" which makes up for that.

Bazine Netal - Master Manipulator tends to get ignored so she can be a great target for the Sith Holocron.
