You already know how it's played. Poe resolves his special as many times as possible to throw Rocket Launcher, Thermal Detonator, Millennium Falcon, and U-Wing at the opponents. This deals huge AOE damage or single target. Maz provides 2 dice resolves and a great change for focus, so you will get natural or focused Poe specials pretty often. Emperor's Throne Room will provide that last bit of opportunity that you will need.
If your opponent focuses Maz, then the throne room and Maz's Goggles will help you clear with Poe. If they kill Poe first, DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol, Rocket Launcher, and Cunning can be paid for and played on Maz. Even the thermal can be played effectively because of the throne room.
When playing against mill decks, it can be really beneficial to play any of these cards instead of chucking them. Use your best discretion.
