This is my take on the Thrawnkar post nerf build and is built around enhancing NPE as the designers seem to want us to go this route. They shamelessly took away an Unkar dice, so let's take away everybody elses.

The deck is built around shutting down an opponents character dice through battle-field manipulation, Prized Possession and Detention Center.

Control and Money is as always is the name of the game, followed by your lockdown combos. The first, and possibly the only thing I'm adding to the Thrawnkar idea, is using Ascension Gun and focus to freeze people as often as possible. Most of the time, people won't let you get the Freezing Chamber as the battlefield. And why not, it plays directly into what you're trying to do, and doesn't effect your deck as negatively as theirs. If they do, you can easily swap it out for the other one anyway. It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't choice.

Between this tactic and the Prized Possession Detention Center tactics, you get to provide a wonderful NPE for your opponent and remove his character dice every round after you've set up. A quick note on New Orders, this card is almost always used to get your own battlefield online in most other decks, here it is usually to get yours away. This is really important. It stops our opponents nerfing our die, and brings the Ascension Gun combo online.

Why is this deck better post errata? Well aggro is slower, and this Thrawnkar was often just a little too slow to get the lock in against Kylo2 and Baby Vader decks. With those out the meta, we can be a little more patient and deliver the NPE our opponents desperately desire.

People are looking at 4-wide, Palpatine and Hero Vehicle combo decks as well which are excellent match-ups for this deck. Hera not being able to do Hera stuff just ruins those decks.

The Crime Lord builds before the nerf needed that extra Unkar dice for resources, which this deck gives up on making.

It's a slower mill, and will make less money without Unkar at elite, so don't expect the 10 card buy-outs. Focus on the hand and try your utmost to stop any kind of upgrade or support getting onto the board.
