Fun character pairing that I played last night at the FLGS. With the multiple pay sides I slotted in a LOT of 0 cost cards including blanks package of removal. I never got the Rise Again off, would potentially switch that out for a second It Will All Be Mine. While It Will All Be Mine is situational, it can just win the game if pulled off at the right time (and it did end up winning me one game last night). Kylo Ren - Tormented One will typically be their focus early on, so would give him the shields and load up Cad Bane - Vicious Mercenary with upgrades. For upgrades, I put in a couple ambush weapons to take advantage of Cad Bane - Vicious Mercenary's ability, a Sith Holocron package, and a couple Crossguard Lightsabers.
I think an argument could be made for splashing yellow in a bigger way (i.e. Friends in Low Places, a second He Doesn't Like You, Relentless Pursuit (guardian and The Best Defense... counter - would have been useful in several of my games last night), Bait and Switch, even a BD-1 Cutter Vibro-AX (though to be honest due the character dice pay sides the resource curve was pretty tight). With the size of the card pool now it is MUCH harder to get down to a 30 card deck.
This is going to sound crazy, but pairing piggy (Gamorrean Guard) with eKylo2 works better IMO. The guardian ability is super useful and you can streamline your damage output type and weapons. The major problem is resources though. On the other hand, all you really need is eKylo with a vibroknife and/or a BD-1. Even Vibroknucklers would kick butt. Yellow has great melee weapons, it's just hard to pair with other color's melee characters.
