Imagine Mace is Palpatine, roll him as your first action every turn, put pressure on the opponent to claim early and prevent him from developing his game, or he will suffer the consequences. If you don't need to spend resources to pay for the 4 melee of Mace, then upgrade Maz with Googles and Mace with everything else. Save Truce for after the other player has claimed early and thinks you are out of resources to pay for Mace´s dice.
