Battlefield and Plot The Outer Rim Outpost battlefield is useful to get extra guns in hand to discard for the Cad Bane engine. The resource is needed to power the costed ranged sides of most of the dice in this deck. Fortify gives an easy shield to Cad Bane to give him starting effective health of 13.
Weapons (12) The gamut of X-8 Night Sniper, Holdout Blaster, LL-30 Blaster Pistol, and the recent Hidden Blaster give us 8 weapons to power the above-mentioned Cad Bane ambush engine. DH-17 Blaster Pistol is too cheap to not include to be used for He Doesn't Like You or for easy overwriting later if need be. In the current shield-heavy meta On The Hunt can be a strong card.
Support(0) I'm still wanting to test Imperial HQ. It's usage is clear but it feels like maybe we're okay with resources. Salvage Stand could also be amazing consider Ciena's dice and 6/8 ambush guns having a resource side.
Events(18) Control (10 ): Doubt, Hasty Exit, Sound The Alarm, and He Doesn't Like You are 8 solid 0-cost removal cards. The Best Defense... has great efficiency to not include when you have a red character unlikely to be taking many hits. Dice-fixing (4): Bait and Switch can be used to fix an un-needed resource side into a much more powerful ranged side on most dice in this deck. Take Flight is great for giving Cad Bane another chance to roll one of his damage sides. Money, money, money (4): Logistics and Truce are exceptional at helping us keep the income up to support this deck.
