The Last Jedi - final round at Seattle GQ! 2.0

I went to my first GQ this past weekend in Seattle and I made it all the way to round 6. Today I'll go over my matchups.

Round 1: Yoda/Hondo. This guy was really good(he also made it to the final round) and the deck is already a tough matchup. Force Wave is no fun, and I lost pretty hard. 0-1

Round 2: Finn2/Han2. This deck wasn't something I expected to play, but it was fun. However, good mitigation and a noble sacrifice for 4 dice won me the game. 1-1

Round 3: Bye. 2-1

Round 4: Boba/Phasma. I have no idea how this game ended so quickly. Vehicle is a very slow deck, yet somehow this game was one of the first to end. I guess I just rolled damage early and mitigated dice. 3-1

Round 5: Rey2/Aayla. Mitigation and resistance bomber won this game. I rolled like 3 sixes in a row and my opponent lost at least 2 dice per round because of removal. I'm going to dedicate this decklist to the creation of the new "just roll threes" which is "just roll sixes". 4-1

Round 6: Sabine/Yoda. Stupid action cheating! But in all seriousness, this game was really fun. We had both gotten as far as we wanted and just played a fun game to cool down after a couple days of playing destiny. The game didn't go in either of our favors for a while, because I couldn't get vehicles and he couldn't get blasters. He eventually got a lot of removal with DL-44 and won because I kept not playing around them. 4-2.

Overall, I think I did pretty well for my first ever GQ. The top 9 was one Obi-Maz, one of which won. Two Boba/seventh, one of which went 6-0 with a bye, 2 Sabines, one with Yoda and one with Ezra, me, Yoda/Hondo(the same guy I played in round 1)and one Kylo(Can't remember if it was Anakin or Talzin because I saw a lot of both throughout the event.)
