I have been using Aphra since she was released (refusing to use Snoke in my variants), and with the new set I was worried I wouldn't be able to keep her competitive. I figured this variant out and I haven't been disappointed.
This is lower health than I would like, but Pryce specials into aphra shield sides for 3 shields helps quite a bit. Also, sidestep is no joke in this new x-wing and mod meta.
It's still quite early, but I have been enjoying this so far.
Basically the plot is perfect for fixing consistency issues. If you need to play across the galaxy to put it on petranaki, you use the plot to play a tie fighter for 1 to play atg with the ambush and deck thin from the tf search. If you already have your battlefield, but you don't draw a droid, you can use the plot to play a hailfire droid tank to get your damage going early.
