The plan is to live long enough to see yourself become the villian. By which I mean play planned explosion. Silliness with ammo belt, 2nd chance... the stupid Hired Guns are beefy and have big dice for getting to 10. It is actually quite possible to play planned explosion turn 1. Backup plan is shoot your opponent in the face.
